Compact flora

About the Brand

Compact Flora is a flower packaging company whose target audience consists of people who live in smaller living areas or have small gardening areas. This particular product contains a variety of different tulips.

The final package design size was a bag with length - 4.5 inches, width – 2.5 inches, height – 9.75 inches. I needed to be conscious of the side designs, as they would be narrowed at the top when on display. I also needed to be wary of the top part on the back of the package, as the front would be folded with a zip tie and would cover up part of the design. I needed clear instructions on how to grow the tulips correctly, so I created some infographics for it.

The design was inspired by a compact apartment building in the city, as this was the target audience. The final design is printed on craft paper that can be recycled. I went with an illustrative approach and wanted to have a ‘Compact’ feel to it. The colors are muted but inspired by tulips and nature. There is also a website for the buyer to get tips and tricks from the community for growing in small places.
