About the Brand

Galactic Goodies is a sweets-baking mix series for younger kids passionate about space. It is also a product for families as the kids need to bake with adults, and it is a fun experience to do together. This specific product is a blueberry blast cookie mix.

The final package design needed to fit on a 4.25 inch diameter, 7.25 inches tall cylinder. The main concern with this product was that because the design was wrapped around and not flat, things would get warped, and I needed the front design to be the correct size as anything too small you could see the sides of the cylinder, and if too big was hard to understand at first glance.

Many design elements needed to be considered and arranged on the product, including, but not limited to, the nutrition label, UPC code, and a warning for kids with peanut allergies. The design needed to be kid-friendly, so I decided to have a mascot(Cosmo) complimented with a fun color palette. I was given two spot colors, so the design comprises only those two colors.
